The Singing Girls of Texas is an exciting ensemble consisting of girls from grades 7 through 12 at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. They are bursting onto the choral scene in Texas and across the United States with their outstanding vocal blend, variety of repertoire, passion for music, and excellent presentation. In the fall of 2003, Mark L. Stamper became their Artistic Director. The Singing Girls of Texas is striving to perform as a nationally recognized professional girls' choir, and to train young musicians to become among the best in the world. The choir has taken two national tours throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.
The Singing Girls of Texas is committed to bringing fresh, new, and innovative literature to their audiences. The girls combine vocal excellence, charisma, and movement to create a concert that will inspire their audiences.
