Smokewagon .44 is a southern rock band from the suburbs of North Texas. They perform mainly around the Dallas/Denton area at venues such as the Curtain Club, The Galaxy Club, The Liquid Lounge, The R Bar, Indigo, Club Clearview, The Gypsy Tea Room, Texas Tea House, Andy’s Denton, Austin Ave. and other north Texas clubs/bars. They are best described as a very powerful, energetic, “hearty Texas rock” band that plays with great stage presence and confidence.
The band is made up of four young musicians, Daniel Tillman (piano, vocals), John Priest (vocals, guitar), Alex Bradbury (bass), and Robbie Segars (drums), two of which study music at The University of North Texas in Denton. In the North Texas area they consistently draw between 40 and 130 people, depending on the location and venue. They have performed with bands such as Speedtrucker, Strangleweed, GetSo, Red Bud Revival, Ron Keel and many more.
