In fall 2001, Snowdonnas formed. Since then, they have received comparisons to bands such as Ride, Doves, Elbow, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Longwave and Catherine Wheel. These comparisons spell out a definite British musical influence and attitude unexpected for a band from Fort Worth, Texas.
Snowdonnas' debut album, Over Now, was recorded in Austin, Texas with Rory Phillips as producer/engineer. Alan Douches at West West Side Music mastered the album.
Snowdonnas recently finished self-producing their sophomore album and signed with Northern Star Records in the UK. Thirty Ghosts Records will distribute the album in the U.S.
