Spliffs is the epitome of a hustler, father, son, friend and homie from the streets. He was never dedicated to rap until he turned down basketball opportunities and worked his way to the booth. "I was a basketball head and had plans to go the league," says Spliffs. With the struggles he encountered, Spliffs had to grow up fast.
Spliffs dropped out of college after his 3.3 GPA plummeted to a 2.3 when he could not complete his final exams. Spliffs' NBA dreams soon faded away and more problems arose. However, Spliffs began to gain exposure, experience and skill in the hip-hop world.
With help from his brother Skrypt, Spliffs began his solo career. "If it wasn’t for Skrypt, I wouldn’t rhyme like I do,“ say’s Spliffs. With his cocky attitude, Spliffs has decided to put the city on his back and open the doors for all local rappers. "Dallas needs a gatekeeper, I'm the D-Town ambassador. I have to do this."
Amazingly, the 6'4", 230 pound emcee has gone from the basketball courts to selling grams of every narcotic to the booth.
