Steve Austin, the Bioniq MC, is a Dallas-based rapper on a mission. Winner of the Dallas Observer's Rapper of the Year Award, Steve Austin has built a reputation for his undeniably precise, versatile lyrical flow, attention-grabbing, body-moving beats and hooks that have become the trademarks of his natural sense of showmanship.
Standing at over 6'5", Austin cuts an impressive figure and has the skills to back it up. The Louisiana born and bred artist studies Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, giving him the physical prowess to deliver an intense, theatrical live show that can bring an audience to its knees. Austin is also Cisco-certified in network engineering and is highly regarded as an impeccable professional mastering & recording engineer. Steve Austin has contributed to solo and collaborative efforts of K.N.E.S. a/k/a Jelly Johnson, Money Waters, Pikahsso, G.Y.L.O., South Side Boys, Bavu Blakes, Al Lyric, and many more through his company, Bioniq Labs.
The Bioniq MC is no stranger to accomplishment. Austin's releases include a series of successful mix tapes (Unleash the Beast & Let the Monkey Out Vols. I, II & III), and he has shared the stage with Outkast, Run DMC (1996/2000), DMX, Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, David Banner, Chico DeBarge, Lil' Wayne, Bonecrusher, Twista, and Biz Markie, among others. As a major player in the Dallas rap scene, the Bioniq MC is ready to meet the national challenge for a hometown success.
