The Steve Tenpenny Band's first CD, Westbound Sun, was released in 2004 and produced two singles ("Star-Crossed Lover" and "Texas Girl") that made the Texas Music Chart. In 2006, the band released Live From Texas, recorded live at the historic Texas theatre in Waxahachie, Texas.
“I’ve been lucky to get advice from many different people along the way," Steve says on his website. "I think that Jack Ingram may have given me the most simple, but best advice, 'Just keep on truckin’. Just be yourself and do what you do.' I don’t think it could be put any better than that, so with God’s will that’s what I plan to do.”
