Born in the mind of George Duncan, Strident Zend was created in the spring of 2004 following the dissolution of The Lining. Essentially a one-man project with several session sidemen, Strident Zend has released four albums during its two-year history.

the lineup for strident zend has changed, currently it is: eric morrison, bass, brandi hartman, drums, andrea partlow, vocals, george duncan, guitars. the new record is having the finishing touches placed upon it. it was recorded at pleasantry lane studios, and we'll be by as soon as we can with copies for the texasgigs staff.
