The Sutcliffes originally formed in the early nineties during the hey-day of depressing grunge rock. They offered an alternative to "Alternative" with their sunny skiffle arrangements of classic and original songs spanning genre's from rock to country to lounge. Over the years they have released CD's of their own material as well as collaborated with kindred artists such as Ron English, Daniel Johnston and Sara Hickman. Their current line-up includes Brando on guitar, Jeffe on harp, horn, and keys, Patro on bass, and Little Ricky on drums. Their music is still about having fun with tongue planted in firmly cheek, and booty shaking wildly in air.

The Beach Boys with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Beach Boy trivia: Though surfing was a prominent theme in many of the Beach Boys' early songs, Dennis Wilson was the only original member who surfed. "Kokomo" was the Beach Boys' first hit in 20 years and ended up being their biggest selling single. Paul McCartney once said that "God Only Knows" was the most beautiful pop song ever written.
