J. Louis III and Mikal Beth met when they were both young, idealistic teachers. While teaching, J. met Christopher Glasse and Geoffrey Spungeon and convinced them to drop out of high school to join his band. In December of 2005, Lucas J. added his beautiful singing and good looks to the band, and they became known as Teenage Symphony.
