The Orbans, formerly Lifters, right after Peter Black and the Lifters, and before that, Thief, first began playing in the Dallas music scene. However, the band started to expand its audience beyond Dallas by focusing on playing fraternity and sorority houses across the country. With vocals that reflect the influences of Coldplay and Jeff Buckley, The Orbans offer a refreshing perspective on what they hope will be the future of alternative and pop rock and roll.
