Ryan Parvis, Travis Behl and Brian Hughes formed, Henry Star, formerly The Transcenders, to focus on writing and playing songs with heartfelt messages that inspire creativity, positive-thinking and spirituality. Yearning to find cohesion and fluidity of lyric and music, in 2004 they added Lionel “Bud” Lucchesi and Brian Girard to the mix. The band fuses rock, blues, funk, country and jazz along with stylized, improvisational solos and duel jams that showcase the talents and variety of musical influences of each member.
