Band History
Trend Kill Clinic is a collection of musicians who have come together to invigorate, mesmerize and entertain music lovers. Trend Kill Clinic is the brainchild of Scar and Helz, who both decided to pursue music making under terms of enjoyment and accomplishment. As TKC first stepped out into public view, Scar played bass and programmed drums, synth, and samples, while Helz maintained the vocalist position with the assistance of their first guitarist. TKC played several venues in the Dallas area.
Shortly thereafter, a live drummer was sought in order to incorporate more dynamics into the sound. Scar and Helz wanted to increase the band's potential and strive for an even broader and more powerful reverberation. They recruited longtime friend and musician Kaven on drums. The three began to work enthusiastically on recreating old material, as well as beginning the stages of newer songs.
However, this did not last, as the thickness of the live bass amid the sound was missing. Filling the bass position was Rah Stichez. Also brought in was Elle Chaos to help front the band with her immaculate voice. Finally, on January 15, 2005, they took the stage for the first time as Trend Kill Clinic. But by July of 2006, Elle Chaos had left the band. In November the group ultimately called it quits.
