Ed Vargas was born in San Angelo, Texas, and moved at the age of three to Garland, Texas, where he spent the next 19 years. Ed started playing guitar in a country band that he formed in high school. Ed received a degree in broadcasting and became a DJ at KTLR in Terrell, Texas. After a short stint there, he went to work for KEMM 92 in Greenville, Texas, where he met a new up and coming artist named Garth Brooks. Based on Garth's advice, Ed headed to Nashville, where he honed his craft for five years.
Now back in Texas, Ed is ready artistically and professionally to make the finest music he can. But don't take Ed's word for it - listen for yourself. This is Vargas Country.
