Band History

Band members Nick Jackson, Jeromy Greeson and Viktor Villanueva started Volts United in 1999. They are inspired by such artists as The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers and Evil 9. Nick has a very extensive musical education background and attends the University of Texas at Arlington as a music percussion and marketing double major. Jeromy is known by fans to have a very keen ear when it comes to producing music. Viktor just hangs out and plays guitar.

Volts United utilizes a very progressive electronica sound that is wrapped around the idea of music that responds to audience feedback during live sets. Group member Nick says, "I like the fact that live PA's can do things that DJ's just cannot. A good live act has more command over the attention of a crowd and therefore can blow their minds in ways that a DJ cannot. Volts United has just finished their newest demo that was recorded at UTA during a live set.
