Genres: Alternative / Indie, Christian, Rock
City: Arlington, TX
Emerging from Arlington, Texas, these five ambitious teens started up like any other amateur high school garage band. Stuck with bottom of the line gear and hardly a place to play, Park Springs Bible Church opened their doors, providing a spot to practice. Since that time, Waiting for Dawn has dedicated much time and effort to enhancing their sound. Though strongly influenced by such bands as Taking Back Sunday with their melodic vocal arrangements, and Brand New with similar musical composition and build, the band still manages to create a unique sound within their genre of music. Along with the authenticity of their music, Waiting For Dawn brings purpose. All members have fallen head over heels in love with their savior, Jesus Christ, and dedicate every second of every song to Him.
