The Walton Stout Band plays an eclectic, 80s influenced show with rock, pop, disco, funk (and a couple of country) tunes from the 60s to current hits. The original Walton Stout Band was created back in the late 70s by the band's founder Bill Aaron Downing. The name came from The Walton Stout manufacturing company in GA. The keyboard player's car had broken down in front of their office. It blocked Mr. Walton's parking spot for a couple days. It was the least we could do.
Bill resurrected the band in Dallas in 2005 with the goal of providing a professional, high energy show primarily available for private and corporate functions, but you will also find them at clubs around DFW. The band is very involved with several charities. They have done benefits for flood victims in Texas, MDA, and Leukemia lymphoma. The are also involved with the Veterans Initiative, helping to provide new high-tech wheel chairs to severely wounded soldiers.
