This award winning band has been rocking the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene with its driving progressive country sound for several years. Offering charismatic stage shows, dead-on musicianship and professionalism, they bring together old and new within the genres of country, rock, blues and swing to party away the night. Their original goal was to create a top country/variety band with an eclectic sound sure to appeal to all audiences. Now the band is looking to move to the next level in their career and is getting extensive international radio play in several countries.

Vans Warped Tour 2009 Warped just began -- Dallas is the fifth stop -- so Bad Religion, NOFX et al will still be fresh. This year, they've got fewer stages and longer sets (40 minutes instead of 30). Get there early for Colorado duo 3OH!3 and Brit punkers Gallows (pictured, credit Jay West). More info

We got this question from a user:
"On the web page for West of Nowhere, http://www.westofnowere.com Jon Beaumont is no longer shown as their lead singer. I did inquire about it and I was wondering if you have any information of what happened?"
Jon is off their site and we've inquired too, but if anyone knows anything, please share.

Ask and ye shall receive:
"Hello Mike,
Jon has decided to pursue a solo project and we've replaced his position with Brendon Preece. Brendon has turned out to be quite an exceptional vocalist and is doing a great job of taking us to a new level.
You can contact Jon through his website at www.jonbeaumont.com
Thanks for your inquiry,
