Will Carroll grew up in Connecticut, one of 11 children. His Mom played the piano and his dad was in the D-Day invasion before becoming a fireman for his entire career. Will spent some time in a monastery but a vow of silence wasn't appealing, and he eventually started a band with friends. He's been on the same bill with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, Yes, The J. Geils Band, Gregg Allman, Joe Ely, Bonnie Raitt and NRBQ. Michael Bolton played lead guitar and sang for one of his earliest bands.

Dozens of Will's songs from 13 CDs are available online for free.

According to his website, Will is planning a move to Connecticut.

Redefining the Disfranchised: The Political Art of Nina Allender As we continue to celebrate the 88th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote, there's a prime opportunity to view influential art from the era. Nina Evans Allender drew political cartoons for The Suffragist from 1914 into the 1920s, transforming stereotypical views of who a suffragist was. Over the years, Allender contributed more than 250 political cartoons to the movement, a number of which are on display at the Women's Museum at Fair Park. More info
