Event Description: Wilson Phillips presents a night of chart-topping music spanning from the '60s to today. After an exhilarating cameo in the film Bridesmaids and Chynna Phillips’ stint on Dancing With The Stars, Wilson Phillips will make a one-night-only appearance at the Winspear Opera House performing the music of their parents, The Beach Boys and The Mamas & the Papas. They will also be performing songs from their previous albums.
One of the best selling female groups of all time, Wilson Phillips is an award-winning trio consisting of Chynna Phillips, Carnie Wilson, and Wendy Wilson. Their 1990 self-titled debut album sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and scored three No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1990, the group won the Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year for "Hold On," and in addition was nominated for four Grammy Awards and two American Music Awards.
Most recently, Wilson Phillips finished recording their album Dedicated, which is made up of covers of songs by The Beach Boys and The Mamas & the Papas. They also finished shooting their own reality show, which will appear on the TV Guide Network in April.

Event Description: Dick Van Dyke, star of the 1960's hit TV show The Dick Van Dyke Show, and movies like Bye Bye Birdie, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Fitzwilly, and more, will walk us through his extraordinary 60 years in show business and sing tunes from his stage and screen work with his quartet The Vantastix. Recently Dick Van Dyke appeared in films Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller, and Curious George.
Dick Van Dyke & The Vantastix is a vocal quartet made up of Dick Van Dyke, Eric Bradley, Bryan Chadima, and Mike Mendyke to celebrate and promote their lifelong love of singing.

I've got a 6-month-old puppy at home, so I understand the need for this next awesome giveaway. The folks at Blanket ID have given us two identification tags for your pet. We'll award them to two lucky winners.

Food, music, fun: Sounds like a pretty darn good weekend, right? This year's Taste Addison festival, which celebrates its 20th birthday, is May 18-20 at Addison Circle Park.
We're giving away a four-pack to five lucky winners, perfect for a family. Those winners will also get a gift card to one of three places: Fogo de Chao, Blue Mesa, or Chamberlain's. Sweet!

Broadway at the Bass welcomes Blue Man Group to Bass Performance Hall, and we'd like to give one lucky winner a pair of tickets for Tuesday, June 26.
Blue Man Group is best known for their theatrical shows, which combine comedy, music, and technology. It's a feast for the senses. Though the blue men do not talk during the entire performance, the show is understood and enjoyed by people of all ages.
