One lesson I forgot
When I held forth on what we'd learned in the Online Journalism Review, there was one I forgot:
For all the hoopla about "citizen journalism," we have found a lot more "citizen copy editors."
Any media outlet denying themselves of this valuable (and free) service is shooting themselves in the foot. Every day I read something on a "professional" media site with a typo that I'm dying to fix.
