Former Dallas Morning News photographer Damon Winter wins Pulitzer

The Pulitzer Prizes for 2009 were announced and Damon Winter, formerly of the Dallas Morning News , won the feature photography prize "for his memorable array of pictures deftly capturing multiple facets of Barack Obama's presidential campaign".

Damon worked at the DMN in the early 2000s; his humble demeanor and positive attitude made him universally beloved by all of his coworkers. He's been at the New York Times since May 2007.
