Special event: Join Teresa for a special Chef’s Tasting at Masaryk
We've got an exclusive opportunity for PegNews users to try the best of Chef Gabriel DeLeon's creations at
Masaryk
. Our friends (and advertisers) at Masaryk in Addison are putting on a
luncheon tasting event just for us next Thursday, December 10 from 11:30 to 1:00
. You can come at any time during the event to meet and greet the Chef as well as our own
Teresa Gubbins
, who will also be sampling the fare.
Whatever time you show up, you'll be treated to a sampling of:
- Duck Tacos
- Salmon steamed in Banana leaves with mango puree
- Huaraches
- Mango/guava/coconut sorbets
These are Chef's signature dishes -- not just your ordinary Thursday lunch -- for the bargain price of $12.
There are a very limited number of seats, so you'll need to RSVP ASAP .

Huaraches are Corn masa discs with black beans, queso fresco and pulled pork with chile fusillade for those that want to know!
