Free CD Tuesday: Ha Ha Tonka and Lisa Lampanelli

It's Free CD Tuesday ! On Tuesdays, you see, new releases come out. And we're going to give some away to you.

Here are the new releases for Tuesday, April 5: two albums from Warner Music Group:

  • Ha Ha Tonka – Death of a Decade : What makes the Ha Ha Tonka brand of Southern rock so special is that it’s authentic, it’s effortless, and it never comes across as forced. They are masters at bringing together the traditional and the modern. They sit at the crossroads of Americana and indie, where Alabama meets Arcade Fire, shakes their hand, and takes them out for a drink.
  • Lisa Lampanelli – Tough Love : This stand-up comedian is releasing a CD and a DVD, so we're going to pick a winner for each.

Man I love Tuesdays.

Do you want these free CDs? Just tell us in the comments section: Which of these CDs is the best, and why? The CD you say you love most will be the one you put your name in the hat for.

We will pick the winners on Monday at 10 a.m., so check your email then to see if you won. We'll put them in the mail for winners.

I chose this because I am intrigued about hearing their blend of traditional and modern Southern Rock. Thanks for the giveaway!

Ha Ha Tonka because I've seem them live in various cities: Green Elephant in Dallas, Boiler Room in Denton before it closed, Emo's in Austin. Was out of town for their recent free show, unfortunately. =(

Reminds me of early Kings of Leon (not Youth & Young Manhood, but Aha Shake Heartbreak). Didn't know they had a new album coming!

FYI, they're named after a state park in the Show Me state. =) Show me a free CD!
