Favoriting contest: More VIP tickets to the North American Body Painting Championship
We already gave away VIP tickets to the North American Body Painting Championship, but we've decided to pick two more lucky winners. Popular demand does that to us.
These tickets are for March 4, 5, or 6 -- you pick the day. This contest is slightly different than last time, however. Instead of "favoriting" the event, we want to hear from you specifically. If you were a body painting champion, tell us in the comments section below: What would you paint your model as? (Please keep this relatively PC. You can make us blush, but don't make us scream.)
Learn more about the Body Painting Championship here .
We will pick two winners on March 1. Each winner gets two tickets.

I see on the NA body painting website the theme of the competition is positive and negative, so I would do something cool using mostly black and white and some bold colors (maybe red) that would pop out. so that the person would seem to disappear and reappear. I think it would be cool to show some bones or nerves showing in the black/negative part, and do some wild wig/head piece to really top it off.

I would paint the body as a hollowed out tree trunk with branches and greenery coming away from the arms, and extreme teased up hair as part of the foilage. I would then put small animals and creatures all over the trunk and branches, with several birds and squirrels in the hair. A living forest home if you will.

Since the theme is positive and negative I would paint my model in a style that represents the Tao Te Ching with a modern twist on magnetics. I feel the Tao Te Ching would make a great theme because it embraces balance both positive and negative in everything. The modern magnetics approach would help to electrify and enhance the Tao art.

I would paint my model 1/2 angel 1/2 demon. One side would be a beautiful, bright, vibrant angelic figure complete with a swan-like wing. The other side would be a horrifying demon with distorted features and a dragon like wing. Pretty freaky huh

Oh I so want to go! I think if I could paint, I would try to do Night & Day. The top half of my model would be very black at the top then going blue toward the middle. Then adding constellations, falling stars, twinkling stars. Star dust around the eyes etc. Then the bottom half, Blue sky at top with the bright yellow/white sun beaming down on green grass thats dotted softley with blue bonnets or something small not overpowering. A stream, a Weeping willow tree with the limbs softly bending to a breeze. lol so anyway, I want to go!!!! (please?) lol

I would emphasize the a light and shadow concept based on angles of light as they hit the body, and gradients between to produce an illusion of fluid motion.
