Oh My God, They Billed Kenny. You Bastards!

Keep It Country

Published: April 5, 2006

I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you. You say Kenny Rogers showed up on the American Idol and Nashville Star bill within the SAME FREAKIN' WEEK!? Haha. No, really. Who was it? It was Kenny? Don't joke with me, I'm serious. It was Kenny? For real? Ah.....eeeesh.

Actually I knew this but I avoided it like a serious, professional avoider should. New Kenny CD, new Kenny stories, new Kenny appearances. You can't see me right now but I am shaking my head, and on my incredulous face sits one of those expressions found on those losers on The OC when something shocks the hell out of them.

Hmm, there was another point to this post. Man, I feel a little woozy. Oh, yeah - check out the latest Casey Rivers Nashville Star video blog. He doesn't talk about Kenny Rog - er, hold on. My gut hurts. I gotta bend over, hold on...sorry. Just - OK, uh, here's the TV remote, I need to go to the bathroom. I'll be back in a little bit.

They said last night on American Idol that Kenny had "been in the music biz for over 6 decades..." SIX DECADES???? How old is the man fercryinoutloud???

He looked to have had a couple million dollars worth of plastic surgery...

I believe since 1957, yep. Kenny Rogers may be a nice guy, but he sings the devil's country music.
