This is just plain weird - not in the classical "ghost" way but in the "what the hell is this crap?" way: Chainsaw Art Directory has just announced its (presumably ongoing) first tribute "to a world-class chainsaw wielding sculptor who also happens to be an exceptional country music personality."
Way to go Doug Moreland, who will also be at Love and War in Grapevine this Saturday.
Honestly, Doug's a good carver. But I can't find a anything else on this Chainsaw Art Directory/country music award, and/or I can't figure out why anyone would start such a thing. Is the nomination pool that deep?
Oh well, I don't care. I'm just going to assume it is and not let it drag me down.
