TexasGigs: It’s not just the music anymore

We've been threatening for a while, and now we've made good. We're slowly expanding the site to cover more than music. Our first volley? Version 0.5 of our movie section, which launches today.
We've still got some tweaking/beautification to do, but for right now, you can find showtimes for every movie playing in town at every theater. And you get most of the extras you'd expect from us: synopses, maps, links to trailers, etc.
In coming days and weeks, we'll add a more geographically-based search and the ability to buy tickets.
My favorite feature, though, is that like everything else on the site, comments are open on everything. If you've ever fancied yourself a movie reviewer, have at it.

Y'know Jeremy, I'm glad you said that.
When we went live last night, I was feeling kinda poorly about some of the still-missing features. I was worried it was too durn simple.
But I used it for a while and realized that a lot of the typical movie listing sites have way too many bells and whistles. This may be a case where simplicity creates an edge.

That's the first thing I thought as well. When I want to see a movie, I want to find the time and theater as fast as possible. Great addition.
