TV Turnoff

According to a bunch of communists and hippies it is officially "TV Turnoff Week."
Hey -- it's a free country. But you'll pry my remote from my cold, dead hands.
I do find some irony that they advertised it with TV spots.
Here's betting that more than 2/3 of the participants watch online video during the course of the week. Does that count as breaking the fast?
I also assume that there is some kind of amnesty for the Mavs game, right?

TV Turnoff Week this week of all weeks? We've got the Stars AND the Mavs in the playoffs and 24 is on tonigh!. Is "donttouchmyremote.com" taken?

I used to have to endure this week back when my kiddies were in elementary and middle school. Horrible horrible weeks they were - now my tube is on 24/7...and my brain is quite mushy.

I have a friend who is not a ÐоммÑниÑÑиÑеÑкого and who will remain nameless who has not watched TV for 9 years, starting with this turn off TV week. I will not go into details, but I have told him: "Mr. X, this is stupid."
