Chicago musician Jef Sarver is currently trying to break the world's record for the longest guitar marathon ever -- 44 hours.

The connection? He's making his attempt at the original Chicago Potbelly Sandwich Works. Potbelly has moved into the DFW market in a big way, and music is a big part of their stores. We're going to be sponsoring a concert series at their Plano store this summer, and will soon be announcing a new contest for eleven local bands to be featured on a "Potbelly Picks" CD.
