I so agree with Jeff Jarvis on this one.

You will never see the "people are traveling for holidays" or "people shop the day after Thanksgiving" stories on our sites.

But what about the "new Ikea store!" and "new Bass Pro shop!" stories? Do you really mean we will have to go elsewhere for this hard hitting investigative journalism?? Wahhh!

We'll probably cover the new Ikea store, but by adding it to our database of places. Not with a slow-loading flash multimedia feature or a long news story.

But then, we sold our souls to Ikea long ago.

I love IKEA's cheap breakfast. By the way, at the Singapore IKEA they have fascinating breakfasts: http://www.ikea.com.sg/store_services...

Let's not run toe fungus ads, either, like some other site in town.

Uh, how about Thanksgiving holiday food poisoning stories?

And regarding toe fungus ads, well Pharma is your Phriend.
