Dallas South Blog
Posted By Alan Cohen in Square Pegs on December 7, 2006

One of the things I hope to do over the next few weeks is profile each of our new content partners. I'll begin with the Dallas South Blog.
Written and managed by Shawn Williams, Dallas South Blog covers everything that would matter to someone living in the southern portion of Dallas. Sometimes that could be as broad as a Cowboys game recap, and sometimes that can be as neighborhood driven as the closing of a local book store that has meant so much to so many people within the community.
What I particularly like about Shawn's blog are his continued efforts to interact with important figures throughout his community. One of my favorite posts of his was an interview with Marcia Page, the CEO of The Foundation for Community Empowerment. That interview introduced me both to both the foundation and to Ms. Page, who seems to be a remarkable woman.
At Pegasus News, we believe that over time your daily newspaper should ultimately be of benefit to the community that you live in. I believe that the Dallas South Blog is already having a positive impact on Shawn's neighborhood, and that's something we are proud to share in. Its a pleasure to welcome Shawn Williams and the Dallas South Blog to the Pegasus family.
