One more thing the Mavs could use tonight…

There has been a lot of talk the past couple days as to what the Mavs need to do in order to regain control of their opening round series against Golden State. More specifically, there has been a lot of talk about what Avery Johnson needs to do. Here is something I haven't heard anyone really talking about even though I wish they would. Remember this play:
First of all, the refs made the right no-call - it was a clean block. But it looked ugly and Devin Harris was on the ground injured for a few minutes. What I wanted to see was Avery Johnson go ballistic. Even if he gets ejected, it would be worth it. When Avery goes after the officials, it looks like he is standing up for his team and passionate about the game. If Avery lets Mark do all the yelling, it just looks whiny, foolish, and somewhat embarrassing to many of us Mavs fans. This team feeds off of Avery's passion, and that would have been a perfect opportunity for him to get his team fired up.
I just hope we aren't looking back with a bunch of "should haves" after Game 2, because Don Nelson and the Warriors are for real.

No, what the Mavs need is to dump ED on someone else. The most overpaid granite hands in the NBA. Yes, it's the mid of the 1-2 quarters, and every time he puts it on the floor, it's cringing time.

Yes, maybe not the worst, but certainly a cellar dwellar - Damp.
Almost as frightening as the Drizzle.
