Cool or lame?

So, I got this in an email:
And I thought: "Cool! Live and roaming!"
Then I checked out an appearance in another city via YouTube:
And I thought: "Lame! They just wheel them around on little logs! And the raptors look like dudes in raptor suits."
I dunno. Am I just too jaded? I would think that even a youngun wouldn't be fooled by these getups.
And wasn't this just at the AAC earlier this summer?:

I don't think it's the dinosaurs as much as the guy in the vest walking around that blows the piece.
I'll totally admit to falling asleep when Sting was on stage during that Annie Lennox / Sting thing a few years ago.

I'm with DC, I think it's the MC's fault at inducing the high cheese-factor (incidentally, what happened to the Town Crier?...is this his new gig [with as much respect to the Town Crier as possible]).
I can see some kids digging on this, although, I can't say I know any.

My kids still haven't recovered from getting the bejesus scared out of them on the Jurassic Park ride at Islands of Adventure two years ago so we'll likely pass on this. As for wasn't this already at the AAC earlier this summer - you may be thinking of the last Eagles tour.
