Equine graveyard

One of the interesting things to watch as Pegasus News has grown has been the topics that get discussed to death. Generally sparked by something local, they often wind up addressing some broader universal truth or falsehood, depending on your POV.
We've been around long enough now that we're starting to get repeats from folks who missed rounds one through x.
So, while we'll never discourage on-topic civil discourse, I think there are certain threads where you'll see less participation from staff and (I'll bet) longtime users.
For those keeping score at home, here are the topics that now live in my equine graveyard (to be updated as time goes on):
- The relative merits of the NY Mets
- Are NeoChristians taking over the country?
- Is homosexuality a sin?
- Should a cop be able to shoot a kid who attacks her?
- Does the new KZPS rock the house or does it suck?
- Should restaurant owners have the right to allow smoking if they wish?
- Is porn inherently bad?
- Is it OK to make fun of Clay Aiken?
Not there yet, but on the bubble: Should lawyers review restaurants?; Immigration good or bad (in the glocal sense -- individual initiatives are still very important/interesting to me.)
(For the record, my personal answers are: Few; Who?; No; Totally depends on the facts of the case; Far better but not as good as an Ipod; Yes; No; Absolutely; Yes; and Both.)
Like I said -- we're still open for discussion about all topics (except perhaps the Mets and Aiken, which are the only threads we've ever closed). But these are ones that I personally find less interesting because there aren't really any novel arguments or additional data in the offing. They're all "agree to disagree" kind of topics in my book, although judging from the volume (in both senses) of the discussion, I may be alone on that...

Mike, just so you know, if I ever decide to stop reading Pegasus...I appreciate you lining up all of the most-pressed buttons so I could go out in a blaze of foolish glory.
On that note, are there going to be regular bumpdates of the stories most commented on?
