End of month speedtrap warning

Between my East Dallas home and our office at Walnut Hill & Central, I passed five speedtraps this morning.

Hmm. August 24... Must have quotas to hit.

Be careful out there.

They may also be there to remind people that school is about to start, and School Zone speed limits will soon be back in effect.

Kirk, these weren't near school zones at all -- and eastside obviously drove the same route I did.

I am still waiting on my DL history to come back from TX DPS. Its been just over a month.

btw - The take home Defensive driving from Blockbuster wasn't to rough. The turn around time on the certificate after completion was 2 days!

We should probably just put cameras up everywhere to surveil everyone and to keep the population in-line. This way we can eliminate the humanity factor and make decisions like mindless robots.

Of course those cameras will not be capable of catching any real crime or crime not authorized by the state.
