Thus, no review. But it seems unfair not to offer some nugget of info, so, herewith, a mini-roundup of beverage news:
1. Odwalla re-launched/re-named its Super Protein Matcha-Licious as "Super Protein Green Tea." A company spokesperson sez consumers did not know that "matcha" = tea. Odwalla puts out tons of items, so this news is rather arbitrary; consider it a shout-out to mate drinkers everywhere.
2. Starbucks' late-summer flavor is blueberry (which they describe as having "the great taste of real blueberries"). Blueberry: very hot as a cancer-fighting antioxidant.
3. Jack in the Box' summer shake flavor: blackberry, which they describe as having "pieces of real blackberries." Available through September.

And, did you notice that the single guy at the lunch counter has nodded off and done a face plant in his coffee cup? Some service model that is....
