Some fun with the Lightcatcher Winery’s official homepage

Laura S. just stumbled across a genius passage on the official website of Light Catcher Winery. While it may be a nice spot to catch some jazz, this place is NOT kid friendly to say the least:
"We do not admit anyone to Jazz who is under 16 years of age. We do this for very considered reasons, and out of hard experience: This is an alcohol-oriented environment. Kids run around and bother everyone but their parents. We don't have a playground or a child-appropriate area. The winery is not child-proof. People come to relax, not to listen to a screaming 3 year old or be run over by a rambunctious 9 year old. Even 12 year olds get bored and then make a nuisance of themselves - so we set the age at 16. And we enforce it. If you have kids, give yourself a treat - get a babysitter and come enjoy."
First of all, I don't support this policy. I think its good to expose kids to jazz early. Second of all, HAHAHAHA ... completely over the top with their distaste for kids.

Have had contact with these people. Takes themselves quite seriously, they does. "Sense of humor", not high on their list of attributes, oh no.

Hey, just give the little rugrats a glass of their own and they will calm down soon enough. As for animals, how can I get my dog listed as an assistance animal? I may need help on the way out if the "wine tastings" go into extra innings.
