Why Channel 8 news can harm your child

It's not often I have the privilege of watching the entire 10 p.m. newscast on Channel 8, but I had the opportunity tonight. Here's what I learned:
Assuming your child isn't born with a birth defect, he or she may be abducted, may become addicted to cheese (the drug) and possibly die, may get cervical cancer, may contract salmonella from eating peanut butter, or may be subjected to dangerous levels of anesthesia on the operating table.
How would the human race survive without Channel 8 news to keep our children out of harm's way?

Joni, says:
And channel 8 loves to lead in with "UFO spotted in Dallas!"
Not only does it take away their intelligence factor of being able to 'pull in' serious viewers, it has me changing the channel. Actually, it has me turning OFF the TV because there is nothing moral on the tube any more! ~joni
