MacGruff nostalgia

When I think of crime, I think of MacGruff the Crime Dog. My life changed the day MacGruff visited my preschool class. I was coming off an extended episode of the terrible two's. It lasted at least 'til I was 4. By that time I was hanging out with the cool older 5 year old kids. They were teaching me things like how to play with my food and that I could make a face without it actually sticking that way forever. Pretty soon it was gonna be time for kindergarten, and I was clearly headed down a path of self-destruction. Then MacGruff showed up to talk to my class. His words taught me that I needed to focus my attention on how to take a bite out of crime. I realized if I wanted to help MacGruff, I needed to clean up my act. I never crossed paths directly with MacGruff again, but it was always a thrill to see him show up for a minute spot in between Muppet Babies and Scooby Doo on Saturday mornings. It gets no better than this:
