Somebody’s TV station ran a graphic report on dog fighting last night

I'm testing out a new service that transcribes my voicemails onto my BlackBerry. Very cool, mostly because it's free.
Here's what I got from an apparently confused TV viewer last night.
This evening I watched your report on the dog fighting. I was horrified to see what you showed on television. Its bad enough to show one clip but to show over and over again this poor animals. I'm horrified and sickened by it and I wished that you would never ever repeat this type of report again. It's important for people to know what goes on. We do not have to see it this graphically. My name is Linda (Telsman?). My number is 972-XXX-XXXX.
You lose the drama in the voice on the voicemail, but you get the idea. I wonder who the real offending media outlet is?

Yes, but it's a celebrity. And not just a celeb, but a rich one. A Hee-roh.
Anyway, I can guess it in one, since I saw part of the (very long) segment. Are you being coy? :)

WB showed clips teasing the story for their evening news and did not put a disclaimer before it. Great viewing while we were sitting down eating dinner. Pass the potatos - and the Pepto.

Jeremy, let's not forget that I spent much of the last 36 hours in a flu-induced stupor, and therefore was unaware of the Michael Vick brouhaha at the time I made the post.
So I now know the topic, but still don't know which television station she thought she was calling.
The misplaced call belies one of the glories of the Interwebs: You can choose whether or not to watch a given clip rather than depending on what a TV producer throws up between commercial breaks.
In that spirit, and as a public service, I feel comfortable delivering the very graphic Michael Vick pit bull video below:
<object height="350" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XBuEBHi3BzU"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed height="350" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XBuEBHi3BzU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" wmode="transparent"></object>

The dog story is one reason why I don't ever watch TV anymore. Not even PBS. I want to control what I watch completely. No one else has the right to do that for me. Ever. JP Schwartz
