Merritt Patterson is scaring me

Square Pegs

Published: March 15, 2007

Merritt Patterson of Park Cities People is now officially scaring me. She has been using the People Newspapers blog to profile MySpace finds. And by MySpace finds, I mean she searches for random people from Highland Park, often underage kids, on MySpace and then uses her blog to re-profile and sometimes give commentary about them. I guess I just find this much more disturbing than I do funny. I wish she would stop.

UPDATE: Merrit has clearly heard my request and stopped stalking high school kids on MySpace. She has now moved onto LiveJournal.

Better hope you don't have a MySpace page. I say send a link to your write-up on her write-ups giving her your commentary on her commentaries.

Is the nanny or speech pathologist hot, though? That's really all that matters.

That and personality.

Now let me get this straight. Your gripe is that Ms. Patterson is using a public forum, MySpace, to gather tongue-in-cheek subject material to be shared in a public forum. WOW!! I'll bet you would like to shut down freedom of speech. Get a life, or maybe a job.

I think milesi826 tends to exaggerate.
