I'm a big Ed Wallace fan. I listen to his radio show on KLIF almost every week because he makes auto talk fascinating, plus throws in an American history lesson very now and then, he knows what the hell he's talking about and he's got a haircut I could never get away with.

He's a columnist for the S-T, of course, and I was searching for his stuff at that paper last night but couldn't find him. His usual page gave you an error message like something serious had happened.

Dear Lord, did they fire Ed Wallace?!?!?! Did an elephant step on him? Did Lee Iacocca eat him?

I emailed him and he said, nope, he's still writing for the S-T. But the paper is reworking their website and have messed up all his links.

Way to go, messer-uppers!

Thankfully, though, Wallace will be cranking out more stuff.
