I had a chance to check out opening night at the House of Blues last night. A couple notes:

-Best sound quality for electric bands in the city.

-The small room will be an incredible venue for local artists to get showcased.

-The Foundation Room is a cool spot to chill and get served drinks by leggy waitresses if you have the cash for a membership. But it will be the member base that will dictate whether it will remain a cool spot.

-It fits the Victory neighborhood without being totally douched up, and that is pretty impressive.
