Why must we continue to ridicule Shawn Bradley?

In her article this morning defending MVP Dirk Nowitzki, Star-Telegram writer Jen Engel felt compelled to cop the following one-liner:
So just like it is moronic to say Nash is a joke based on a single game, it is also idiotic to so characterize Dirk on such flimsy evidence.
He had a bad series, not a public revealing as the “German Shawn Bradley.”
Oh, how quickly Jen Engel forgets the prowess of the most dominant Mormon in NBA history. But let me remind you Ms. Engel with a reenactment of Bradley's dominance courtesy of NBA Live '95.
