On the site today (this one) appeared a Google ad for LittleDemocrats.net, which sells children's books for Democratic parents. (The ad probably popped up after one of our guys posted this story).
Anyway, the books—one called Why Mommy is a Democrat and a companion piece for democradads—are weird at best and frightening to the point of laughter at worst. And I'm a Democrat.
When a child is so young you think to use anthropomorphized squirrels to educate him/her, that child is too young to understand or fully appreciate the partisan divide in this country, and any attempt to tell him about how Democrats "help each other" will only leave him thinking Republicans are demon creatures from Hades. Some are, but c'mon. Not fair. And creepy.
