Square Pegs

Would it really be too much to have included the guy's first name in this headline?

Be careful with the Googling as well . . .

Only if you were reading this in a local newspaper.

Since it's in a running news site, (written by a US Track & Field writer) where everyone knows who Tyson Gay is already, I think not.

BTW, may I respectfully suggest that you source the graphic/written content -- which is clearly the entire content of this story -- so the rest of the readers who don't know running can know?

Ok, between this and the Drag Queen pic on today's events, I'm getting some very questionable looks from my cubicle-mates today.

BTW Bill...the article was referenced in the text of the post (although, perhaps after the fact upon your request).

I second that, James. People raised an eye-brow if they visited while I was enjoying PegNews at my desk...drag queen seems to be a bit of an attention-grabber.

Yes, for the record, the article was changed by Bill's request (thanks for the reminder).

Almost entirely off topic (but perhaps not quite):

Is it just me, or does our featured drag queen resemble Drill Thrall Shanah from the Star Trek episode "Gamesters of Triskelion"?

Norma Jean / Haste The Day / The Showdown / MyChildren MyBride / Children 18:3 Granted, you probably have to wear your tight jeans to gain entry to this show, but at least it's for Norma Jean. If you occasionally have the hankering for unbridled screaming set to a beat, this Atlanta quintet is your band. Basically, they're the band all the little screamo kids wish they were. Beware: the teenagers own Deep Ellum tonight. More info
