News for you, Chad: this town ain't missin' 'em, at least here in Old Lake Highlands near the Meyer bungalow.
The past several nights Mrs. Film Guy and I have been taking crepuscular bat viewing walks around the neighborhood, and guess what - we've been seeing a lot of them.
If you venture outdoors after the sun slips away (and before the residual glow leaves the sky completely) and just keep glancing upward while walking around, you'll see things that you might at first take for swallows - only the swallows have all bedded down.
I'm cheering the little blokes on, of course, under the assumption that they're doing their part to reduce the mosquito population - sans insecticide.
