New feature day: Part I — The movie clock

Remember The Met? One of their little features that I always thought was the cleverest was the "Movie Clock." It was a nifty graphical arrangement of the upcoming showtimes for a particular movie across all theaters.

Well, we've taken a step in that direction thanks to some nifty work on David's part.

Now when you click on a movie you'll get a nice graphical view of the upcoming showtimes and you can even use it on future days.

For instance, here's a screenshot of the gizmo for 3:10 to Yuma:

You can even use the slider at the top to refine your search.

For the hoi polloi, the relevant theaters are listed alphabetically. But registered users (like you, right?), can mark theaters as your "favorites" and they'll always come up first (if they're showing the film).

On the drawing board: Also showing theaters nearest your home address between the favorites and the alphabetical list. Meantime, you can always search by zip.

The new gizmo also shows a graphical representation of the showtimes at any given theater.

Enjoy! And let us know how we can make it even better.
