Random YouTube video of the day — watch out for cyclists!
Posted By Alex Bentley in Square Pegs on April 11, 2008
Gotta say, this has to be the most random public service announcement I've ever seen, and yet it's oddly fascinating and funny. Watch out for cyclists! (Hat tip to Larry James for the heads-up)

I even went back and re-played the video to be sure it wasn't creative editing. Really makes a point.

I have been to four conferences in the past three months and this was shown every time. Although this version is slightly different from the original, which is the one I'd seen:

Was really amazing the first time. But the next meeting facilitator who puts this in front of me is going to be in for a hurtin'

Yeah, it doesn't matter how many pseudo-basketball players you throw on a court, I will always see a dancing bear and/or gorilla. Which leads me to believe that all cyclists in Dallas should be required to wear bear/gorilla costumes.

Self-important, cellphone talking, makeup applying, late for work again, obliviates need to here the message. Share the road. The ten seconds it takes to safely pass cyclists surely shouldn't make too big a dent in your existence that you feel the need put the cyclist's life at risk.
I commute to work via bicycle, by choice, 29 miles round trip. I know what I'm talking about.
P.S. I'm not a tree hugger and I have two perfectly good vehicles in my garage I could drive.
