Favoriting Contest Quickie: Bob Schneider at Bass Hall’s McDavid Studio

Square Pegs

Published: April 21, 2008

We know there are several Bob Schneider fans in DFW, and though he hails from that live music sinkhole known as Austin (just kidding, free-lovers), we want to give some tickets away for his upcoming show.

Courtesy of our friends at the Bass Performance Hall, we have a pair of tickets to Bob Schneider's concert this Thursday, April 24th in the McDavid Studio. This is a favoriting contest, so all you have to do is go mark the event and/or Bob's band page as a favorite (free, easy PegNews registration required).

Why might you want to go to this show?

1) Bob recently released his latest album, When the Sun Breaks Down on the Moon. According to Austin360.com, "Moon is a laid-back, 12-song collection that has Schneider moving further away from big-band party-rocker and closer to daring, solo experimentalist." But, if you're into the big-band party-rocker side, I'm sure he'll deliver on a few favorites throughout his tour.

2) Bass Performance Hall is right across the street from The Flying Saucer and just a block away from the Schakolad Chocolate Factory and their ridiculously amazing handmade truffles.

3) Uhhh, free tickets (being sold at $23 apiece)

We'll draw the winner at 4 p.m. on April 23rd (just two days away!).
